PAGSANJAN / MAGDAPIO FALLS Boat ride Brgy. Tibatib Cavinti Laguna Publo El Salvador Nature Park and Picnic Grove
Pagsanjan Falls which is locally known as Magdapio Falls is one of the most visited tourist spot in Laguna. Known for its majestic cascading waterfalls, Pagsanjan Falls have grown into a major tourist destination for the region and also one of the premiere world class tourist destination in the Philippines.
Pagsanjan Falls is accessible via Pagsanjan. From the plaza, there are many boatmen or "bangkeros" that offer boat ride (shooting the rapids) going to the main falls. I'm not so sure but I think  the boat ride services costs around P1200 to P1500/pax.

Another way is via vertical trek at Brgy. Tibatib, Cavinti, Laguna where Publo El Salvador Nature Park and Picnic Grove is located. Entrance fee is about P250 to P280 per head which includes rappelling gear and guide.

We first walk in a well cemented trail in the forest. Not all the roads are well paved. Although it is not as simple as a walk in the park, you will really enjoy the sight of nature. It is about 15 to 30 minutes walk, then we went down on concrete steps with safety railings. You have to wear a safety harness to go down the cylindrical tube with steps. It is up to you if you want to take the steps down or you want to rappel to make it faster.

After our challenging experience, we finally see what we're looking for. The magnificent Pagsanjan Falls. Your visit is not complete without experiencing the raft ride.

When we are approaching the falls, everyone got excited and some were already shouting out of excitement. It was like a natural massage with a little bit of pressure because the water gushing down our head and body is so heavy. Nonetheless, It was really fun. Something we Filipinos should be proud of! World class experience!

    1. thanks for your interest. from where kayo manggagaling? if from manila, take a bus going to sta. cruz, laguna. may HM transit located sa cubao diretso sta. cruz laguna. pag nasa sta.cruz na po kayo, may may jeep na available going to cavinti na po. mas ok puntahan muna ung falls, less travel time papunta po dun. but i advise na agahan nyo kung plan nyo po puntahan pareho. from magdapio falls naman po, may mga tricycle or jeep going to undergroud river but coordinate first to Municipal office of cavinti to secure permit sa Underground rive. thanks :)

  11. Hi po! ask ko lang, yung bayad niyo ba sa entrance fee ng park kasama na dun yung pagsakay sa raft papunta mismo dun sa cave sa likod ng falls? or yung entrance at gears lang talaga? If ever, how much ang ibabayad pag lalapit sa falls?

  13. Hi po. Magkocunduct po sana kami ng survey sa mga Bangkeros sa pagsanjan falls for our thesis. Tanong ko lng po sana kung may kailangan pa po kaming kausapin na head for permission to conduct a survey? or kailangan pa po ba naming gumawa ng letter? thank you po.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
